Welcome to Cairns Marble Australia

A family run business with over 20 years experience in processing natural stone including marble, granite, and limestone. Cairns Marble Australia are, suppliers to wholesalers, tradesman, designers and direct to the public. Cairns Marble Australia’s Motto is to provide customers with “Quality and Value” . All products we supply are placed through a stringent quality control process. As a result, Cairns Marble Australia is able to maintain the quality control and selection at each and every interval of processing from the stage of quarrying through to the final delivery of finished products. Cairns Marble Australia is continuously installing and upgrading latest technologies and processes within its Processing and Quarrying facilities in Cairns, Chillagoe and Western Australia. Cairns Marble Australia believes that the best form of quality control is the selection of superior material. Quality control does not only relate to the stone quality but also the ability to cut correctly and within tolerances of size and thickness.

Cairns Marble Australia mines, manufactures and retails a complete range of marble products from raw marble blocks through to unpolished and polished marble slabs, marble tiles, monumental and furniture products.

The company also sources granite slabs for the manufacture of stone furniture including kitchen benchtops, bars, bathroom vanities and monument items.

We source our raw marble materials from our own extensive leases in the Chillagoe district of Far North Queensland, Australia, and recently have expanded our operations to Western Australia deposits. Since 1989 a variety of marble has been mined from these leases with positive results of quality.

Currently only available in USA, MEXICO, CANADA and EUROPE.

META CRÈME™ is the next generation of sealing technology, the ultimate invisible and breathable impregnating sealer for protecting natural stone, tiles, masonry, pavers, concrete and grout. It represents world best practice in sealing. Dry-Treat had 2 main goals in developing META CRÈME™:

1. Performance, durability and protection which surpasses all existing standards
2. Environmental responsibility, not just by today's standards but tomorrow's

'META' definition: change; transformation; at a higher stage of development

META CRÈME™ TECHNOLOGY

META CRÈME™ starts working immediately on contact with the surface. Self assembling components enter through the tiny capillaries present in all porous building materials to deeply connect on a microscopic level to the subsurface. The treatment becomes permanently part of the material itself causing damaging liquids such as oil and water-borne salts to be repelled.

BENEFITS

* Next generation technology = the ultimate penetration and lifespan
* Retains natural colour and finish of the surface
* Super oil and water repellency for superior stain protection
* Super penetration creates large water and oil-repelling barrier which provides protection against many serious problems other than stains, including efflorescence, picture framing, spalling and freeze-thaw damage.
* Low odour, non-drip cream. Ultra low VOC, fulfills strictest LEEDS requirements.
* Easy, one coat application.
* Makes cleaning easier and keeps surface looking new for longer; controls moss and mildew growth
* Breathable - water vapour escapes freely, helping to avoid harmful moisture buildup inside the treated material
* Use indoors or outdoors
* Treated areas are food contact safe
* Alkali resistant - won't break down in contact with cement based materials
* Can seal hairline cracks up to 0.3 mm (0.012 in.)
* Will maintain a superior gloss level when used to treat highly polished surfaces.
* 15 YEAR PERFORMANCE WARRANTY available when applied by a Dry-Treat Accredited Applicator

SEAL FOR LIFE - green credentials

This environmentally responsible, low VOC sealer makes cleaning easier so you use less cleaning chemicals. The creation of a permanent bonding impregnating sealer which is also low VOC is a world first. Our DIY 1 quart META CRÈME™ comes in an award winning, waste and energy minimising, recyclable pack. The innovative POS display unit in retails outlets is also made from 80% recycled cardboard, the maximum recycled content, and does not require seperate cardboard shipping boxes.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

META CRÈME™ is ideal for indoor / outdoor use on kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment areas, pool surrounds, patios, countertops, floors, walls, building facades, and for public / commercial areas.

WARRANTY

A 15-YEAR PERFORMANCE WARRANTY is offered when the product is applied by an Accredited Applicator following our written instructions and the surface is cleaned regularly (as per our written warranty). Spills should still be cleaned up immediately to minimize the opportunity for damage.

AustralAsian Granite was established in Perth, Western Australia, in 1991, quarrying granite rough blocks for both domestic and export markets. It operates quarries in Western Australia and in South Australia. It also is active in exploring new granite prospects throughout Australia.

The company’s success has evolved through a combination of access to high-yield, high-quality deposits, exacting quality control standards, skilled personnel and highly mechanised production techniques.

The attraction of granite is its versatility – equally at home in the kitchens and bathrooms of suburban homes, on the floor of Melbourne International Airport, paving the footpaths of Sydney and Adelaide or on the façades of high-rise buildings.

Granite supplied by AustralAsian Granite has been used to stunning effect in projects as prominent as the ANZ World Headquarters in Melbourne; banks and hotels in Bangkok, Thailand; financial institutions in China; prestigious residential towers and public buildings in Taipei, Taiwan and in hundreds of residences homes in the US.

Recently we celebrated our 11th anniversary since launching on the WWW in 1998, we survived the dot com boom intact and even the on-going recession of 2008-2009 has still seen us progress however for quite a while we had been contemplating how to, or even whether to, adopt a Web 2.0 strategy.

The Current WWW Scenario

The natural stone trade, probably the entire world wide web, realistically does not need any more directories, most of which are either unusable or at best a useless listing of company after company. Therefore the simple question for us was which technology allowed us to feature a company's full press release, a web site review, a product launch, could easily integrate a site search, could have enough categories, would allow user interaction and still be expandable if required?

Let's Try This Out!

We think we've found the answer with these specially adapted blogs we have created over three web sites:

http://stone-network.com/blog/
http://stone-network.asia/
http://stone-network.eu/

Each blog has been created with the same navigation and categories:

Consumables - Abrasives, diamond blades & tools, pastes, fillers, mastics, liquids
Fairs - Local, national & international natural stone trade exhibitions
Granite
Limestone
Machinery - New & secondhand production machinery for the factory or quarry
Marble
Quartzite
Sandstone
Serpentinite
Slate
Tools - Traditional & revolutionary stoneworking tools
Travertine
Uncategorized - Anything that does not fit in above!

We feel that covers the stone industry adequately however if you consider that we have missed something out please let us know.

<!--

Advertising Style

It is worth noting that for the maximum benefit for search engines and our users that you do not simply "copy and paste" information from your own web site. Search engines thrive on unique and relevant information...plus we feel that you will surely have something new to say!

If you have a new material launch it is very advisable to send us the Technical Specifications along with images that have not been optimised, we shall do that for you. One of the most frequent enquiries here are for material tech specs from architects and specifiers therefore do not underestimate the importance of them.

What Is All This Going To Cost?

Nothing, we have never charged for any information or facility provided on our sites and our intention is not to do so, however if you are that determined to give us money for a press release, site feature or would like to place a specific advertisement, please let us know and we'll see what we can arrange for you.

Who Is Elligible To Be Featured?

This offer is open to the entire industry including quarriers, producers, import/export agents, wholesalers and retailers, machinery manufacturers, tool producers and consumable suppliers.

Whatever you supply for the natural stone trade we want to know!

Site Of The Week (SOTW)

With the launch of these new sites our regular SOTW will be discontinued and replaced with direct links from our index page to the appropriate blog pages featured.

We look forward to your continued co-operation.

Thank you
