Big Island Quarries is an indepedent limestone quarrier located in the historic town of Wiarton, on the scenic Bruce Peninsula in the Northern extent of South Western Ontario, Canada.

We specialize in Eramosa and Riada limestone blocks and stone products.

Canadian limestone is a beautiful stone product. It has a classic and natural appearance, and displays subtle details on close inspection in any of its finished forms. It has many different colour tones that can easily complement other building materials, and interior designs. The low key appearance is just as suitable for a building's facade as it is for the inside decor of a house. It's characteristics make it an attractive choice for home construction where it is often shown in its splitface form.

The blocks can be used for applications in building stone, landscape stone, erosion control, paving stones, sills, steps, copings, countertops, tiles, and cladding.

Big Island Quarries' biggest clients include stone processors from Europe as well as the United States.

Big Island Quarries currently produces a number of Eramosa and Riada limestone products. They are available in several standard sizes and specifications but some products can also be custom made according to a customer's requirements.
