Castelli Marble Inc. announces the completion of our newest production facility in Mexico. After 7 years of double digit growth, we felt it was necessary to build a new, state-of-the-art facility with the perspective of current and future needs in mind. The new facility features over 200,000 square feet of construction, plus an additional 5 acres of land surrounding it for future expansions. We are now located on the main interbelt connecting the three cities of Torreon, Gomez Palacio, and Lerdo in the state of Durango, Mexico (about 600 miles southwest of Laredo, Texas).

At this time we operate 2 production facilities in northern Mexico and a smaller consolidating support facility in Tecali Puebla, Mexico.

Castelli Marble is one of the few companies that wholly owns and directly operates its production facilities. We have two that are in Northern Mexico ; Ciudad Lerdo, and Gomez Palacio; and a smaller facility in Tecali, Puebla . Each facility specializes in different product lines to maximize efficiency and to process available raw materials closest to the source.

This synergy allows our company to quickly respond to our customer needs on “fill in” stock or special orders. We load trucks heading north bound 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. In Cleveland, OH, we receive the Tuesday truck on the following Monday (example – a client orders a special sink on Monday; it would leave on Thursday's truck and we would receive it on following Tuesday in Cleveland).

In a time that clients have narrower time lines, 2 to 3 weeks is a long time to wait for overseas containers. We have factories that can back you up with US based inventory at same price and we can do custom orders on a 14 day door to door period.

We also specialize in creating special product lines for multi-distributorships or chain stores, giving them the opportunity to create private lines and customize to the needs of their regional markets.
