Mystic Granite & Marble hosted the first of a series of regional educational programs being offered in 2006 by the Marble Institute of America. The “Increase Your Share of the Residential Countertop Market” seminar was offered on January 9th & 10th in Orlando, FL, and attracted attendees from five states, as well as Canada.
This seminar is the most popular of the MIA’s 2-day regional education programs. The first day offered a sales and showroom overview assisting attendees enhance the knowledge and skills needed in the showroom. The second day provided a fabrication and installation overview. “The takeaway value of this seminar was greatly enhanced because Mystic Granite & Marble provided tours of their facility to supplement the classroom instruction,” said Jim Hieb, MIA special projects director. He added, “Mystic was an excellent host and their showroom is first-class!”
