CLEVELAND, OH, MAY 17, 2006

A stunning series of showroom quality posters featuring magnificent photographs of natural stone quarries is the latest offering from the Marble Institute of America to help stone companies promote marble, granite, limestone, travertine and other products in their showrooms. With the addition of the six quarry posters, MIA has a wide range of point-of-sale materials, books and other materials to assist in the showroom marketing process.

“There has always been a fascination with quarries,” said Lindell Lummer, Malibu Art Tile & Stone and 2006 MIA education committee chairperson. “Consumers are mesmerized by the sheer magnitude and scope of quarry operations. These posters are designed to be placed alongside other natural stone promotional posters and materials in the showroom.”

Suitable for framing (standard frame size 22” x 28”), the new 6-poster quarry set is priced at $90 for MIA members and $150 for non-members. Both groups can save $20 if the poster set is ordered before July 1, 2006.
